The Belarusians. Vol. 13: Screen art. – Minsk: the Belarusian Science, 2009 (authors – A. Krasinsky, O. Nechaj, A. Karpilova, O. Medvedeva, G. Shur, E. Golikova-Poshka).

Considered in the collective monography are peculiarities of the Belarusian cinema formation, described also are the processes occured in Belarusian cinematography at the beginning of the twentieth century. The documentary and the popular science film is represented in culturological and aesthetic aspects. Special attention is paid to the phenomenon in screen culture of Belarus -- creative association "Telefilm". Displayed in the work are the tendencies in evolution of animation, the periodization of the Belarusian animation history is suggested, as well as stylistic features of animation genres are defined. Besides the authors consider productive and reproductive forms of interaction between screen and musical arts as well as aesthetic ties of the fine arts and non-fiction cinema which are considered in historical and cultural context.
