Is Belarus a part of Europe or some "Non-Europe"?

Conflict of ways of thinking

*Prepared by doctor of philosophy V.Evorovsky

First of all, lacuna is a gap. For example, we don’t have knowledge of a certain subject or words in one language needed to translate a concept lexicalized in another language. To wide extend, lacuna is the absence of ways of describing one or another thing in one or another tradition. Just like poetry, thinking is difficult to translate. Of course, it is possible to convey ideas by the use of description. But when translators try to give a literal translation, they change the meaning.

On the other hand, it is very important to be understood not only for a scientist-humanist, but also for any person who addresses himself to representatives of another culture and sometimes may face lack of understanding. Outward resemblance sometimes creates an illusion of internal similarity. Even if two scientists have one and the same key points in their intellectual achievements, in reality it turns out that they try to cognize the universe in absolutely different ways.
