Main - - Culture - Lakunes and Delusions Conflict of ways of thinking   Paradigm of history of culture of European type always tended to measurement and calculation. These tendencies are stronger than intensions to think and to meditate. Nowadays mental map of Eastern Europe, on the contrary, consists of a great stochastic mass of various “intermediate” social states, which in a nonspecific manner include both achievements and failures of the intellectual European tradition of XX century. In our Eastern European reality ideological pluralism is connected with another interesting notion which can be called temporal ambiguity of the community of scientists. It is obvious that for several years Western European philosophical and methodological tradition has been a standard for almost all social and humanistic studies.
